“Minnesota's largest wildife park/petting zoo”
See them all at Paul Bunyan’s Animal Land, Minnesota’s largest wildife park/petting zoo. Located on Hwy 2 East, between Bemidji & Cass Lake, Animal Land is home to nearly 100 animals representing every continent on earth. Lions, tigers, bears, camels, lemurs, kangaroos, monkeys, cougars, raccoons, three species of deer, bobcats, elk, llamas, donkeys, reptiles, exotic birds, amazing bugs and various small mammals are just a FEW of the animals who make their home at Animal Land. Walk among the deer, feed the bears, pet the camels, and learn about each of the amazing creatures in our animal family. Indoor learning center, gift shop, picnic areas, playground, RV parking, wheelchair & stroller accessible, birthday parties, group rates, traveling educational programs and more.
The Paul and Babe statues are not part of Animal Land. They are in a park downtown by the Chamber of Commerce.
Good place to visit with friends and families especially with kids. They allow close encounter with the animals. There was feeding, petting, and playing wit the animals. The animals were fun, friendly, and adorable. The place is very clean and you'll see that the animals are well taken care of. There were lions, tigers, bears, camels, donkeys, llamas, elk, lemurs, deer, raccoon, and many other animals. We also enjoy having picnic here. They have good picnic areas and playground.
