This 20 room high-rise apartment, nestled into a towering limestone cliff, tells a story of ingenuity, survival and ultimately, prosperity in an unforgiving desert landscape. Visitors can marvel at this enduring legacy of the Sinagua culture and reveal a people surprisingly similar to ourselves. Even 600 years after their departure, the legacy of the Sinagua people continues to inspire the imaginations of this and future generations.
Not much of a hike. Its a quick stop to somewhere else.
gorgeous! worth the $5 per person entry fee. brought our dog, nice paved trail, small hike, very easy. two thumbs up!
Only open 8 to 5. Will try to see it some other time.
We listened to an interpretive talk, which have us some great perspective on this amazing site. Great place to take kids-we spent about an hour there.
Historically amazing. If you want a hike, this isn’t for you. This is an easily accessible paved walkway to view the ruins. It can be a quick stop that won’t leave you disappointed.
Fascinating piece of Native American history from before the 1400s in the middle of the Arizona desert. The cliff dwellings were amazing to see from the walkway, which was a short walk from the visitor center. The temperature was high so be sure to hydrate.
Easy to get to and a very short walk from the visitor center. Can see it in short time. Well worth the stop!!!
You can't get near the ruins but its a great place to hike
